Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trinidad by IHG

This was an exceptional stay, and the hotel surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The amazing view was spectacular, the snow topped mountains were beautiful and the mountainscape behind the hotel is awesome as well! My room was spotless, everything was as should be and the flat-screen tv was nice as well. The city view from the room was spectacular, breathtaking. I appreciated the delicious breakfast, which had a wide variety of fresh options. The location was perfect – quiet, but still within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. I stopped by the Walmart and got some amazing views from there too, overall this was a perfect 10 stay!

If you want a good room at a good rate with free breakfast and an ideal location, this place is perfect. If you want five star luxury accommodations this is not that. But as highway hotels go this is a regular stop for us in and out of Colorado.

Location was really good. You could get right on the interstate and go wherever you wanted to go quickly. Our room was fantastic. Very clean and modern. The ceilings were so high! Breakfast was amazing. Freshly ground and brewed coffee, and lots of choices for your breakfast. They even had cheese omelets. Dog friendly. They talked with him and petted him which made him happy, which makes me happy. I highly recommend this place.

Overall the experience was fine. The room was clean and adequate. I really appreciated that they had almond milk available at the breakfast. Most hotels don’t carry alternative milk.

Had a little glitch with my room, nothing major, just the air conditioning wouldn't come on. Jeremiah took very good care of me, got me into a new room, no fuss and he was extremely professional and polite about it. He even came up and tried to fix the air conditioner first, so I didn't have to move. Excellent customer service. The hotel itself is on par with Holiday inn Express which is my go-to for traveling because they're consistently clean, have excellent customer service and most importantly, comfy beds. I plan to stay here on my way back too. A+ PS request a room on the backside if you can, it's nice and quiet. I just had to follow up with my morning, as it was greeted by the most cheerie person ever, Lisa Michelle! She is just full of sunshine and joy! Who doesn't need that first thing on a Monday morning?! I'll see you guys on my way back.

Traveling from one coast to the other I selected this hotel because of proximity to highway and reviews. Lisa at the desk when I checked out was wonderful. Personality was perfect for a hotel. First and foremost they have the new coffee machines that grind the beans! Bonus!! The views from my room were worth raving about for days. Beautiful. The room was very spacious and clean. It was really peaceful (especially for a packed Fri night). There was plenty of Diamond parking which is rare so thank you. The Christmas decorations were festive and appreciated as we live in hotels during the holidays (medical profession). There is a gas station and Wendy’s with in walking distance to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if traveling through town.

My husband & I came in very early on a Saturday morning, having driven from around Austin, Texas after a full day of work. The weather was below average temperature & snow was everywhere. We are not used to this, being from Texas. We didn't expect much, just hopefully a bed. Lisa greeted us with a warm smile and was exactly what we needed after our trip. Extremely friendly, genuinely delightful! The room was clean and everything else was up to standard. However, Lisa's customer service is impeccable! 10 stars for Lisa!

A positive surprise during my business trip to Trinidad. Hotel has a wonderful breakfast, the best I had tried in America for a 3 stars hotel. The location and the cleanliness of the facilities are fantastic. Congratulations!!
